Michael Colne lives with his wife Miki and two daughters at 1, Chiltern Close, Bushey. He was educated at Highgate School and Columbia University, and retired recently after a career in industry. He has served as a Borough and County Councillor for more than 30 years.He was Mayor of Hertsmere in 1988/9 and served as Chairman of Hertfordshire County Council from 1993/5.
