Laurence Brass - Bushey North

"It’s been the honour of my life to represent Bushey on the county council since 2021. I’ve strived to make your voice heard, and get results for all our neighbourhoods - from Park Avenue to Aldenham Road, Harcourt Road, and Bournehall Avenue.

I’ve fought for funding to repair roads and pavements, plant trees, and tackle parking issues. I’ve championed local schools. And I’ve helped hundreds of people with individual council problems.

My Lib Dem colleagues on the borough council are fighting to protect our precious greenbelt -  at Farm Way and Bushey Hall Golf Club. We’re also creating a new play area for Millbrook Green.
But there’s always more to be done, especially because the Conservatives who run Hertfordshire County Council have caused such chaos.

They’ve wasted money and allowed public services to suffer. That’s why it’s such a struggle to get potholes repaired or improve road safety near schools. And it’s why so many children are being failed by the crisis in special educational needs.

This means Bushey Lib Dems must work harder than ever to help put things right.

And with your support, that’s what I’m determined to do."
