All change in Hertsmere
The Conservatives no longer run Hertsmere Borough Council, after 24 years in charge. At the local elections, the Conservatives lost 13 seats, and their majority, leaving no one party able to run the council alone.

Conservatives: 16 (-13)
Labour: 14 (+7)
Lib Dems: 9 (+6)
The end of 24 years of Tory control of Hertsmere Borough Council. We are looking forward to a new way of doing local politics
